Wake Up Youth!

Wake up Youth This Sunday I went to watch a film called "Wake Up Sid" directed by debutant director Ayan Mukherjee , with my colleagues. I knew from reviews it's good movie and was hoping to see some refreshing performances, not Dil Chahta Hai meets Lakshya ... Ranbir Kapoor as Sid (short name for Siddharth ) proved that he has charm and confidence to see as one of the leading actors in film industry. Opposite him is Konkona Sen as Aisa , a Bengali girl came to make her mark in Mumbai , inspiring to become writer. She is one of the most natural and gifted actress in the industry. She effortlessly portrays emotions of joy when she gets a new job or when she finds rented flat, jealousy when she is talking with Sid's intern cum probable girlfriend whom Sid meets in parent's anniversary party. Enough! One scene I will remember when Sid's mother reveals reason behind her try to learn speaking in English that she just wanted to be friend with her son....

Love - Aaj, Kal aur `Kal'

How will be love of tomorrow( Kal )?...Better make a sequel to movie "Love aaj kal"! When I saw movie "Love Aaj Kal ", same question peeped into my mind. Director Imtiz Ali who impressed with his previous film(not debut!..remember "Socha Na Tha"!) "Jab we met" starring Kareena and Shahid Kapoor , wanted to show differences between generations of 80's or early 90's and now towards "Love" in this movie. Earlier, society was mostly closed in nature. There was no permission to girls and boys to even talk to each other. Girls were under continuous attention and in control of parents. You used to see common middle-class girl in salwar-kameez or punjabi kurta with duppata or odhani. This may be we were not exposed to other cultures which were more open. The way world changed, became technologically advanced. Communication became easy. There are lot of ways of communication like Internet, e-mail, chatting, phone, sms, etc. Due to ...

A Love To Love For A Life

A Love To Love For A Life Life is Short It Takes a Minute to Find a Special Person, an Hour to Appreciate them, a Day to Love them, But an Entire Life to forget them. Life is Long & Tiring, It Takes a Whole Life to Find A Special Person, to Find a Love to Love for a Life , to Forget Everything in Split of a Second, as One could not Appreciate for Everything in Other's Mind.

I Dreamed a Dream...

मला आवडलेले गाणे... I dreamed a dream in time gone by When hope was high, And life worth living I dreamed that love would never die I dreamed that God would be forgiving. Then I was young and unafraid When dreams were made and used, And wasted There was no ransom to be paid No song unsung, No wine untasted. But the tigers come at night With their voices soft as thunder As they tear your hopes apart As they turn your dreams to shame. And still I dream she 'll come to me And we will live our lives together But there are dreams that cannot be And there are storms We cannot weather... I had a dream my life would be So different from this hell I'm living So different now from what it seems Now life has killed The dream I dreamed.
